We were able to have a wonderful local blacksmith craft a unique fire screen to enclose our firepit. He used Gulaga Mountain and the Black Duck, the Totem of the Yuin people as decorative inspiration. Throughout the winter months the children enjoyed damper, butter and jam as we warmed our bodies, listened to stories and talked around the firepit.
